I “let go” a freelancer for AI. Here’s why…

I hired a social media assistant to help me post my videos and posts to all the social media platforms. It cost me around $90/month for the assistant. The assistant did an okay job, sometimes missed out certain posts, and the timing of the posts were inconsistent.

It’s my fault tho. I didn’t reinforce the behaviour of posting on time. But hey, $90/month to have maybe 80% of what I need, sure. I got better things to do i.e. get more students, increase revenue.

Then AI agent came along. It will cost me $138/month. But what can it do?

1. Post my social media on time, and NOT miss out any postings
   ($90/month for a social media assistant to do this)

2. Build a tuition management system for my tuition business
   ($5000/month for a software developer to do this)

3. Add 1000s of Math questions and answer to my database
   ($1000/month for a Math teacher intern to do this)

4. Create personalised worksheet for every student
   ($100 per worksheet for a Math teacher to do this)

And many more*

$138/month for $6000+ worth of output. It’s a no brainer. I said to my assistant I no longer need her service and got myself ChatGPT Pro 5x. It has been worth every dollars.

*caveat: It’s not as simple as have this AI agent do everything for me. I have to plan and create workflows, resolve errors, check the quality, improve on it and so on.
